FAMILY BANKING
Verity The App is MENA’s family banking and financial literacy app with a prepaid card for kids and teens, powered by parents.
Children 8 - 18 learn how to budget and manage their money as they learn its value:
EARN: Children can earn money through chores and allowances set by parents. Verity also has a referral program that enables them to earn more for referrals who download the Verity app and order the card.
SAVING: Saving habits are ingrained as they set saving goals for all the things they want to buy. Power up their savings by matching what they save!
GIVING: It’s never too early to teach them how to give back. Set Giving Goals to donate money or items to causes close to their hearts.
SPENDING: Children learn how to manage their spending by using their very own prepaid VISA debit card and deciding how much to put aside towards Saving and Giving Goals.
PARENTS: Parents have all the settings, notifications, and tools they need to create a safe environment they are comfortable with for their children to have real-life money experiences.
REGIONAL & INTERNATIONAL
The app is built with both our regional values and global citizenship in mind, and is currently available in English, with Arabic coming soon

SAFETY & SECURITY
We follow all the safety requirements as set by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates. Our backend technology is VISA, PCI, and 3DS certified. Your funds sit in an account with our partner bank (Mashreq Bank) and are protected as per the UAE Central Bank requirements.
The Verity app offers plenty of parental settings, including:
Real time spending notifications
Daily, weekly, and monthly spending limits
Card activation / deactivation
Children’s debit cards have enhanced security with:
Card number, expiration, and CCV through app
Chip and PIN-protected transactions
Secure PIN recovery and changing in the app
Bank-level encryption
3DS 2.0 on Online transactions
FEES
The Verity App is free! There is no cost to download it or order the prepaid cards. We believe in total transparency - that’s where our name “Verity” comes from.
EDUCATIONAL
Children learn by doing (experiential learning) as they use their own money with real-life money experiences. Our gamified financial educational content and games keeps them engaged as they learn - coming soon!

be aware for the ridiculous transfer in charges
it’s insane when I transferred 500 dirham to to fund the account they charged 18 dirham to receive the money 🤔imagine every time you upload the card there will be such charges, decided to not use it anymore

Hello Mohannad, Thank you for the review. The app and card are free. We only charge a flat fee of 4 AED for open bank transfers into the Verity App to fund your account. This fee remains fixed at 4 AED, regardless of the transfer amount when you connect your bank account. We also offer a transfer from credit card / debit card option that allows you to transfer money at a rate of 3.5% per transfer.
